For All Your Notary Needs

What you need to know before scheduling an appointment:​​

• All signers must personally appear before the notary.

• The signer must be acting willingly and be aware of what they are signing and agreeing to.

• All signers must have a valid unexpired state or government issued ID (Acceptable forms of ID).

• A notary cannot certify vital records; birth, marriage, death or divorce certificates (copies or originals).

• A notary is not authorized to perform marriage ceremonies in Virginia.

• Do not make an appointment if you are not feeling well or test positive for COVID/Pneumonia/Strep. 

• We will only make hospital visits if we can communicate directly with the patient.

• We do not speak Spanish and cannot use an interpreter to communicate with the signer.

• Travel fees are non-refundable once a trip has been made.

• Notary fees are $10 per stamp for general notarizations (rates vary for remote online and real estate notarizations - we recommend requesting a quote). Travel fees are $25 and up depending on the distance.

• We accept cash, Cash App, check, credit cards, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle (Payment methods.)

• If you are paying in cash, you need to have exact change. We do not carry change.

• All signers must be present and on-time to avoid additional fees for wait time. We will wait up to 15 minutes. After that we will charge $25 for every 15-minute increment thereafter. (You also have the option to book 1-hour of time for a flat fee.)
